New benefits launched with Unify ME Symphony Platform 4.1
ORLANDO, Fla. – June 15, 2017 – AVI-SPL, the global leader in AV systems integration and collaboration solutions, today announced key features added to its Unify ME Symphony Platform in its version 4.1 update.
The new features considerably extend the monitoring tool’s reach into the meeting space by enabling it to interact with any device connected to a Crestron controller. The enhancement, described by AVI-SPL as one of the platform’s significant differentiators, offers the unique ability to monitor and manage the entire AV, UC, and video conferencing estate of an organisation. Key metrics tracked by the Unify Me Symphony Platform 4.1 include room utilization, device usage, meeting modalities, and real-time quality of experience to help maximize collaboration and improve business outcomes.
Labelled AVI-SPL’s “cornerstone technology’ by leading market research firm, Frost & Sullivan, in its recent report that named the global integrator its Managed Video Conferencing Services Company of the Year, the Unify ME Symphony Platform greatly enhances the meeting room performance locally and globally for organisations worldwide. Additionally, the platform allows for custom alerts and service escalation paths based on user business rules.
“Unify ME Symphony is blazing a trail in this new world of data collection,” said Frank Mehr, AVI-SPL’s senior vice president of research and development. “Our team continues to be laser focused on developing new and intuitive ways for our customers to ensure the best possible meeting experience within their organisations.”
At its core, Unify ME Symphony is an easy-to-use tool to manage the user experience within a company’s collaboration spaces, starting with the gathering of vital data like room usage, bit rate, packet latency, and bandwidth to proactively monitor performance all the way down to the device level. When a device is not working to its full capability, Unify ME Symphony will notify the organisation’s internal IT department, or send an alert to AVI-SPL’s managed services team, depending on the customized alert settings and escalation paths for service, set by the user.
Key features added to Unify ME Symphony 4.1 include:
- Single portal with a unified user experience to handle all types of online meetings
- Record your meetings, manage and publish your recordings
- Schedule an event and automatically stream it to large audiences
- Communicate with Crestron controllers to monitor vitals from AV or VC devices in the room
- Define monitoring blackout periods cascaded from account to location and device
- Enhanced meeting moderation and devices monitoring
The Unify ME Symphony 4.1 update will mark the latest version in a series of updates scheduled for future release – a commitment that AVI-SPL believes is vital to its customer’s success.
